Every time I came across the “hobbies” section of questionnaires, I would blank out, scratch my temple, and struggle to write down something other than Super Mario Brothers. I couldn’t play you a tune on an instrument, or draw you more than a tick-tack-toe board if you gave me a pen and paper, but I was pretty good at pressing buttons on a controller.
It was only a few years ago that I finally found a craft that would fulfill my longing for an creative outlet. Photography perfectly complimented my need for button mashing, gadgetry, and visual stimulation. My inner geek was awakened and I was in love.
